I had a great stay at Kesa House, The Unlimited Collection Managed By The Ascott Limited, thanks to its excellent location in Chinatown and the overall pleasant service from the staff. However, the rooms were quite small, and I wished there had been more options for natural light in my room. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would return. 😊

6.2/10

My stay at Kesa House was a mixed experience. While the location in Chinatown was fantastic and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, the breakfast situation was quite disappointing. The room was comfortable with a nice bed, but I expected a little more from a 4-star boutique hotel.

Rooms
7.0
My room was comfortable, featuring a big bed and lovely decor, though it was a bit on the small side. I appreciated the espresso machine but found the windows didn't open, which could be claustrophobic for some.

The staff were super nice, greeted me with smiles and provided excellent personalized service. They even offered me an early check-in when I requested it.

The hotel is super centrally located, making it easy to access multiple MRT stations and explore Chinatown. There are so many restaurants and shops around, which was a huge plus.
Dining

While breakfast was included, it was quite disappointing as it was served in a cardboard box with limited options. Fortunately, there were plenty of local cafes nearby that offered great alternatives.
Facilities

I enjoyed the small but well-appointed gym and the common areas were clean and inviting. The complimentary nibbles in the foyer were a nice touch after a long journey.

My stay at Kesa House was quite pleasant, with its charming boutique ambiance adding a unique character to the experience. The location in Chinatown was amazing, allowing easy access to both the MRT and vibrant local eateries. However, the room was a bit small and had some noise from the street, which could be distracting at times.

Rooms
7.0
The Superior room I stayed in was cozy and clean, though it felt quite compact. The layout allowed access on only one side of the bed, which was unexpected compared to what I had seen online.
Service

Staff service was friendly, though I felt they could have been a bit more engaging. The reception was efficient during check-in and check-out.
Location
9.0
The location was superb, right near Outram Park MRT and a short walk from Chinatown. The area is bustling with many restaurants and bars, perfect for exploring.
Dining
7.0
While breakfast options were not included, the complimentary snacks and beverages in the lobby were a great touch for a short break. I especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine.
Facilities

The hotel offered solid facilities like dry cleaning and a communal kitchen. However, I found the high step to the washroom a bit inconvenient.

I had a pleasant stay at Kesa House, enjoying the unique boutique atmosphere in Chinatown, which was a great spot for exploring local culture. The service was very friendly and attentive, although the room size was a bit cramped for my liking. It's a clean and stylish choice, but be prepared for tight spaces. Overall, I appreciated the experience but felt the room could use more storage options. 🌟

Rooms
7.0
The room was quite small and had limited space for luggage, which may not suit everyone. However, it was clean and well-furnished.
Service
9.0
The staff were cheerful and attentive, greeting me with smiles and accommodating my requests promptly.
Location
9.0
Situated right in Chinatown, the location was perfect for accessing a variety of food options and was close to the MRT.
Dining

No breakfast was included, but there were tasty snack options available 24/7. Plenty of dining choices nearby.
Facilities

Basic facilities like laundry and housekeeping were provided, but the room's small size limited the amenities.

My stay at Kesa House in Chinatown was a mixed bag. While the location was fantastic and the room was comfortable and well-designed, I faced some issues with noise and maintenance. Overall, I appreciated the unique charm of the hotel and its central location, but improvements in sound insulation and room upkeep are needed.

Rooms
7.0
I upgraded to a spacious room with a balcony, which was perfect for some quiet reading outside. However, the noise from outside was quite disruptive, especially during the evenings.
Service
8.0
The staff were generally attentive and greeted me with smiles. They responded promptly to my requests during my stay. However, there was a slight hiccup with room cleanliness at check-in that needed addressing.
Location

Being in the heart of Chinatown was a highlight. I enjoyed easy access to vibrant night markets and two nearby MRT stations, making it convenient for exploring the city.
Dining
7.0
Although the dining options weren’t included in the rate, I found the continental breakfast convenient, and there were plenty of nearby eateries to explore.
